Barbara J's Story
Hello,
After leaving Wilson I attended BTD and graduated with an AA degree in Dental Assisting. I was hired by Dr. N.R. McCoy, orthodontist, right after graduating from BTD.
I met my husband, Terry Schwartz at BTD in the Spring of 1964. We married in Sept. 1965. Terry retired from the Inglewood Fire Dept. in Dec. 1997 after 30 years.
I quit working for Dr. McCoy in Nov. 1970 and Terry and I had our first daughter, Lo...Expand for more
ri, Dec. 1970. Our second daughter, Carie, was born in Jan. 1972.
In 1978 we moved from Long Beach to Thousand Oaks, CA, where we are today.
I worked for JCPenney Co. for 20 years.
Terry and I are both retired. Carie lives up the block from us and Lori lives in Aptos, CA.
We have three grandchildren , Devon 7, Ryan 4 and Mia 4.
I enjoy camping, fishing, gardening and genealogy and most of all our grandchildren.
